Winnie Cooper recently asked if rap is getting lazy. This is a good question to ask not only from the rappers' point of view but the fans as well. If you ask me, the problem ain't if Rap is Getting Lazy but are we the music fans getting too frig gin' gullible?

We sit and wait to be forced fed the BS that mainstream is dishing out. The rappers observe that our culture has been watered down with nursery rhymes and that this is what's HOT right now. So they think that in order to get noticed it makes sense to jump on one of these tracks and try to show off their skills.

I watched the CNN Heroes as presented by Anderson Cooper with mixed emotions. It was great to see that there is still so much good being done around the world. It is even more thrilling to witness a mainstream network acknowledge the people that do these good deeds publicly.

Far too often, positive messages are stifled by the mainstream and the public is never made aware that these positive things occur. It is as if there's no room in regular programming for positive message.

Bill O'Reilly said that if McCain was as mad as he was he would be President already. We may have elected one fool but we cannot top that with a mad man so sorry Bill, the American people will have to disappoint you on that one.

Bill O'Reilly said that Republicans favor self-reliance. What happens when the most self-reliant loses his job, can't find another one, loses his home, don't have a place to sleep, can't feed himself because he's been stripped of his self-reliance - who does he rely on then? Oh, not the government - hell no!

2. take a cooking class, if you cannot cook 'cause starting yesterday you need to stop eating fast food - you simply cannot afford it.

From time-to-time I will share ideas, concepts and other interesting finds in other online communities. One such find, is a website that got me laughing but if you look at it seriously, the site is on to a very relevant point - buy my shit.

This site encourages you to add your shit to the pile as a way to make a political statement. It is a comical way to demonstrate your objection to the recent decision to offer $700B bailout of Wall Street banks.

So if you have some shit to off-load on to the government, then head on over there and add your shit pile, no exceptions.
